PRE-REQUISITES
The prerequisites for the 300-hour yoga teacher training course typically include:
- Completion of a 200-hour yoga teacher training program accredited by Yoga Alliance or an equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
- A minimum of one year of regular yoga practice following the completion of the 200-hour training.
- Basic understanding and proficiency in foundational yoga asanas (poses), pranayama (breathing techniques), and meditation.
- A commitment to personal growth and development, both on and off the mat.
- Openness to learning and exploring advanced yoga techniques, philosophy, anatomy, and teaching methodologies.
- Good physical and mental health to undertake the intensive training schedule, which may include long hours of physical practice, study, and teaching.
- A genuine passion for yoga and a desire to deepen your understanding of its principles and practices.
- Willingness to engage in self-reflection, introspection, and personal transformation throughout the duration of the training.

Course Overview:
Advanced Asana Practice (50 hours):
- Deepen your understanding and practice of advanced asanas (postures) with a focus on alignment, variations, and modifications.
- Explore the energetic and therapeutic effects of each asana.

Pranayama and Meditation (30 hours):

Yoga Philosophy and Ethics (30 hours):

COURSE DETAILS:
The course places major emphasis on…The philosophy is based on Bhagavad Gita and its applications in daily life. Students will study and practice pranayama, chakra meditations and Yoga Nidra. The anatomical highlight will be on practical applications of functional anatomy and comparative anatomy.

PHILOSOPHY
In our 300-hour yoga teacher training, the Yoga philosophy syllabus delves into advanced philosophical concepts rooted in traditional texts such as the Yoga Sutras, Bhagavad Gita, and Hatha Yoga Pradipika. Trainees explore deeper aspects of the Eight Limbs of Yoga, including pranayama, pratyahara, dharana, dhyana, and samadhi. We delve into the study of classical yoga philosophy, including the nature of the self (Atman), the paths of yoga (Jnana, Bhakti, Karma, and Raja Yoga), and the concept of Maya (illusion). Discussions also encompass the historical and cultural context of yoga philosophy, ethical guidelines for yoga teachers, and the integration of philosophical teachings into modern yoga practice and teaching.
ANATOMYIn our 300-hour yoga teacher training, the anatomy syllabus covers a comprehensive understanding of human anatomy and physiology relevant to yoga practice and teaching. Topics include musculoskeletal anatomy, biomechanics of movement, functional anatomy, the nervous system, and the respiratory system. Trainees learn how to apply anatomical knowledge to enhance alignment, prevent injuries, and adapt practices for individual needs. Additionally, we explore the effects of yoga on various body systems and how to effectively communicate anatomical concepts to students.
PRE – HOME WORK & NON-CONTACT HOURSThe pre-reading and non-contact hours for our 300-hour YTTC are designed to enrich your learning experience and prepare you for the course. Upon booking, you’ll receive access to our Pre-study online module, covering fundamental yoga anatomy through pre-recorded classes and notes. Additionally, you’ll receive a suggested reading list, which includes yoga-related books and videos to explore before the course. While pre-reading is recommended, it’s optional, and materials can be accessed during free hours at the training. The online module also serves as a refresher for those needing to revisit yoga anatomy concepts. We aim to equip you with the resources needed for success in our course, ensuring you’re fully prepared for your journey into advanced yoga teaching.
